about
"Merry Christmas and condolences!
We present you with a rework of a classic, the funeral version of All You Need Is Speed. Chock full of festive sleigh bells and a procession choir that could wake the dead - goes well with eggnog and seasonal depression."
lyrics
Headlong into the storm.
Hammer down, I won't be long.
Valhalla bound at the speed of sound.
I'm in a pitch black Cadillac.
Gonna speed through Hel and back.
I am the prophecy -
so get behind me.
Gimme gimme more speed!
I got my Valkyrie and a flagon of mead.
I'm gonna shake the earth.
All you need is speed!
Full fledged berserker rage.
Pushing red on the fuckin' gauge.
I bring the thunder.
I tear asunder.
Teeth grindin'
got a lead boot.
The world stopped when the serpent shook.
I see the cities burn in the rear-view,
I'm just about to break through.
Gimme gimme more speed!
I got my Valkyrie and a righteous steed.
We're gonna shake the earth.
All you need is speed!

An absolute banger from our all time favourite Canadian band. Also, we got Vincent featuring on our new album, and we're pretty amped about it. Ruff Majik

This is pretty music with pretty vocals. The guitars are pretty too. I like it. The album art fascinates me. I enjoyed my first listening of the entire album. I must come back for more. This could potentially become a favorite of mine. I listen to a lot of music. They are really good sounding. They could be touring the world! Michael

this their most solid release to date, there other records are all insanely brilliant, you should buy them if you enjoy this for sure. keep kicking ass and putting some of the best sludge this decade. Ryan Graham
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
